One for the Kipper

Friday May 20, 2005
Way to go, Kip Henley. The winner of "The Big Break II" completed his second round at the Nationwide Tour Henrico County Open at 2-under par after posting rounds of 72 and 70. Unfortunately for Kip, he was two strokes behind the cut line in a tournament where much of the field goes low. It's still the best showing so far to come out of the exemptions "Big Break" winners earn (although "Big Break I" champ Justin Peters was on the leaderboard in a Canadian Tour event before suffering an injury).

Henley will play the next three events on the Nationwide Tour schedule. Meanwhile, "Big Break III" winner Danielle Amiee will be back on the LPGA Tour at the Corning Classic next week.
