Sunday March 20, 2005
If you've been wondering whether it's worth it to sign up for a satellite radio service, there may now be some extra incentive. The PGA Tour and XM Satellite Radio have struck a deal that makes Tour broadcasts the centerpiece of a planned 24-hour golf channel on XM.
The new channel will be called the PGA Tour Network and will air on XM Channel 146. In addition to live tournament coverage from the PGA Tour, XM is partnering with a company called PureGolf, Inc., to produce other golf news and information programs to fill out the 24-hour schedule.
If you are interested in signing up for XM Satellite Radio, package details, pricing and other information on the service are available on the XM Satellite Radio website.
