"Fluff" to Caddie for Michelle Wie

Mike "Fluff" Cowan will be on the bag for Michelle Wie at this week's LPGA Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill. Fluff gained his greatest fame as Tiger Woods' first professional caddie, and was on Tiger's bag for Woods' record-setting 1997 Masters victory. Cowan is available to Wie, playing in her third LPGA Tour event of the year, because his regular job is on hold. Fluff caddies on the PGA Tour for Jim Furyk, who is out with an injury. The caddie who had been carrying Wie's bag in pro events this year, Bobby Verwey, is working with is regular employer - Gary Player - on the Champions Tour this week.
