LPGA Introducing New Magazine, Fantasy Game
Wednesday March 10, 2004
The LPGA is attempting to reach out to golf fans with a new magazine called "Crush" that will be available on newsstands and at LPGA events. And a new, free fantasy game is open for play on LPGA.com.
The fantasy game is the ADT Top 30 Challenge. Registration is free. The weekly game will run throughout the 2004 season.
The ADT Top 30 Challenge allows fans to select which LPGA players they think will finish in the top 30 of each week's event. Fans can register now and begin making picks on Monday, March 15.
Fantasy dollars pile up based on the performance of the players you've selected. Weekly prizes are awarded and the grand prize is a trip for two to the 2005 ADT Championship at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla.
"Crush" is the new official publication of the LPGA. Its content will include player profiles beyond the golf course, golf instruction from top LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals, fashion, travel and high-energy features. The debut issue is scheduled for May.
