Walk the Walk

Monday August 4, 2003
The USGA wants you to do it. Your doctor wants you to do it. You know you should do it. How about doing it? We're talking about walking, of course. Choosing walking over riding in a cart is a great way to get started on getting fit while having fun. But it's also something that's good for the golf course. And it might even lead to a quicker round. Really. Check out our series on Walking Golf. And then stroll on over to the About.com Walking site, where guide Wendy Bumgardner definitely walks the walk.
